Tomorrow Gaia is hosting a session at the Disruptive Innovation Festival (DIF), which is an online festival organized by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation. The festival is all about new trends of sustainable business, such as, circular economy – one of the hottest topics of today. On the Open Mic stage Gaia’s business director Tiina Pursula is about to present a 30 minutes’ introduction on concrete tools to take advantage of circular economy. Our session takes place the 16th November @ 10-10.30 GMT. Invest 30 minutes of your time and come join us!
Resource efficiency is one key aspect in designing of sustainable business cases and improving the sustainability of current business and operations. Measuring and bench-marking resource efficiency is, however, not straight-forward. Measuring resource efficiency requires practical modelling tools. In order to be able to benchmark different value chains servicing the same final need, also including the aspects of circular economy and closed loops, one needs to include system-level aspects in the analysis.
Join the session to hear more and discuss on latest scientifically solid and industry-tested methods for resource efficiency metrics and bench-marking. The methods will be summarized with a focus on concrete cases.
