Ulla Heinonen is the new Managing Director of Gaia

Ulla Heinonen has been appointed the Managing Director of the sustainable business consultancy Gaia. Heinonen brings digitalization expertise to further strengthen Gaia’s capacity to build clients’ competitiveness and new business opportunities.

Ulla Heinonen (40) will start as Managing Director of Gaia Consulting Oy on February 1, 2018. Heinonen has previously worked in leadership positions in the IT industry, specializing in strategies, processes and sustainable development. Heinonen holds a doctoral degree in Technology. She wrote her doctoral thesis on participatory management of water resources in Cambodia.

Juha Vanhanen, Pasi Rinne and Mari Hjelt to concentrate on client work

Juha Vanhanen will continue as Managing Director of Gaia Group Oy, Pasi Rinne as Chairman of the Board of Gaia Group and Mari Hjelt as Vice Managing Director of Gaia Consulting. Ulla’s appointment will allow them to devote more of their time to client work.
