Three new professionals, Anna Pakkala, Ilona Koski and Mari Pieniniemi have joined Gaia during August and September.
Anna Pakkala, Master of Science in Economics, started in the role of Senior Consultant in August. Anna’s areas of expertise include carbon neutrality roadmaps, CSR, sustainable business development, sustainability communications and branding. Before joining Gaia Anna worked at Compensate in marketing, brand, and sales. Her previous experience includes the role as Head of Sustainability at Slush.
Ilona Koski started as Consultant in September. Ilona has a master’s degree in economics and business administration and in her studies, she specialized in accounting and responsible business. Her areas of expertise are sustainable business development and sustainable business models, strategic sustainability, environmental change, impact assessment, and sustainable supply and value chains. Before Gaia Ilona worked in research at VTT among sustainable business and responsible innovation ecosystems.
Mari Pieniniemi started in the role of Administrative and Project Coordinator in September. At Gaia Mari, Master of Science in Environmental Change and Policy, gets to combine her competence in administrative tasks with her study background. In her daily work, Mari will provide gaians with comprehensive support, from HR and system issues to project work support and office logistics.
