Gaia continued to strengthen its consulting forces in January with the additions of Ville Kirjonen, Rosa Degerman and Leo Bergman.
Consultant Ville Kirjonen is a Master of Science in Technology from Aalto University, majoring in Sustainable Energy Systems and Markets. Ville possesses vast level of expertise in energy markets thanks to his previous job at Fortum, where he worked for the last five years in the Heating and Cooling Business Optimization Team.
Consultant Rosa Degerman has a MSc in Environmental Ecology and Water Management and is currently studying International Strategy and Sustainability in Hanken School of Economics. Her areas of expertise include public sector, S&I policy, organisational sustainability, and international co-operation. Prior to joining Gaia, Rosa worked at the British Embassy in Helsinki, covering science and innovation projects and co-ordination of the Arctic science co-operation in the Nordic region.
Gaia’s new Senior Consultant Leo Bergman’s areas of expertise include strategy, supply chain, operations management, new technologies, data analysis and energy. Leo holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management at Aalto University. Prior to joining Gaia, he worked at Accenture as a Management Consultant Analyst. Leo also has experience in public procurement through his political duties, having served as a deputy commissioner at Helsinki City Council and member of the Board of Social Services and Healthcare during the previous term.
